Help us Fill the Deere with food to help those in need. This year has brought a lot of turmoil and difficulties to so many, we can share our blessings by filling the food pantry at the Salvation Army. With your help last year, we delivered a Chevy Suburban load of food. Donations can be left in the blue container, which is located by the John Deere Excavator in the Town Hall parking lot.
This event will run from Sunday, November 1st through Friday, December 18th. Donations needed include but are not limited to:
- Canned vegetables and fruits
- Canned soups and stews
- Peanut butter
- Whole grain pasta
- Brown rice
- Beans
- Canned meat such as tuna or chicken
- Non-perishable items
Please consider pop-tops on cans for ease of opening. All donations go to the Food Pantry at the Salvation Army of Alamance County.
