Due to complications at the October 5th Agenda Session of the Elon Board of Aldermen meeting, some changes have been made to the online public meetings.  To ensure that the public can continue to view and participate in Town of Elon Board of Aldermen public meetings, the following process has been put in place. To view the meeting scheduled for tonight, October 13, 2020, click here.

Members of the public will be able to view the proceedings by accessing the meeting through the provided public link. Registration is required for all attendees. All attendees will be muted, video displays turned off, and no screen sharing ability will be given.

If a member of the public wishes to address the Board during the public comment period or on a particular item on the agenda, they will be directed to the Chat function to supply their comments for the Town Clerk to read to the Board. To ensure your comments are read during the correct part of the agenda, please identify whether you are commenting on an agenda item or whether you want your comments read during the Public Comment period.

As with all public meetings, please provide your name and address when commenting. This is required for the minutes of a public meeting. Please remember the minutes of all public meetings are a public record.
