On Wednesday, April 28th, Governor Cooper issued Executive Order 209, which will begin today Friday, April 30th at 5PM and continue through Tuesday, June 1st at 5PM. The Executive Order allows for people to be outdoors without wearing a mask. Masks are still required when indoors in public spaces. The prohibition on alcohol sales after 11PM has been lifted. Capacity limitations, social distancing, and masks are still required in most businesses. Within the Town of Elon, mass gathering limits will remain at 25 people indoors and 50 people outdoors

There are activities planned for May and we hope you will join us. The Recreation & Parks department have a new virtual program called Intro to TaeKwonDo and Korean Culture on Wednesdays from 6-7PM. They are also back in person at Beth Schmidt Park for Storytime in the Park and Game Night.

On May 28th, the Alamance Arts Musical Chairs concert series will kick off with a Covid friendly concert in Downtown Elon at the Oak House featuring Love & Valor. This show will be live and streamed online. Music to Dine to continues on Friday nights at the outdoor dining locations downtown.
