Friday, August 14th begins the move in process for Elon University students. First year students and their parents will arrive move in on Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th with upper class students and their parents arriving on Sunday, August 17th and Monday, August 18th. Please anticipate traffic delays on N Williamson Ave and University Drive. View our earlier post about move in here.
The University diligently prepared for the fall semester focusing on the health and safety of the community both on and off campus. They have issued a letter to the community with information regarding their plans. This information can be viewed here.
The Annual Elon Gibsonville Shred-A-Thon event will be held this Saturday, August 15th from 9am until noon at Beth Schmidt Park. This event will be a drop off only. Masks are required and all COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. More information is available on the Calendar of Events online.
Starting Monday, August 17th, the Elon Police department will begin towing vehicles found in violation of parking regulations and that have more than one unpaid parking ticket associated with the vehicle.
