On Tuesday, December 28th, Elon Public Works Department will be replacing a fire hydrant and valve at the intersection of Woodale Drive and S Williamson Avenue. Water in the area will be turned off beginning at 8am but should not be off more than eight (8) hours barring any challenges that might arise. The hydrant and valve replacement are being done to improve fire protection, water quality, and to cut down on future shut offs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. As a reminder the Town of Elon administrative offices will be closed in observance of the Christmas holiday on Thursday, December 23rd, Friday, December 24th, and Monday, December 27th.
