ELON BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING

In order to maintain the safety of Town residents, staff, and the Town Board, the Regular Meeting of the Elon Board of Aldermen will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 6:00pm via an Electronic meeting. The Town of Elon, Alamance County and the State of North Carolina are under a State of Emergency with provisions for social distancing, limits on gatherings and stay at home orders. The Town under North Carolina General Statue 143-318.13 will host an electronic meeting. This meeting will be hosted via Zoom and will be available for call in and web access. The Board of Aldermen will all participate remotely. The full agenda can be found on the Town’s website.

What does this mean for those looking to participate in the meeting?
There are two ways the public can participate in the meeting:

  1. Join the meeting through Zoom on your computer or smartphone.
  2. Join the meeting through audio only via telephone. Simply call one of the following numbers. Depending on your carrier, long distances charges may apply.
