E Haggard Avenue Closure Information for Elon University Commencement.
Elon, NC (May 20, 2019) – A section of E. Haggard Avenue from N. Williamson Avenue to N. O’Kelly Avenue will be closed beginning at 7pm on Thursday, May 23 through 9pm on Friday, May 24 for Elon University Commencement ceremonies. Please be aware of crews setting up for the road closure. Police officers will be on hand to direct traffic until the closures are in place and detours are identified. Please follow the detours to maneuver around the area.
Elon Elementary School parents can find information on the closure and routes to drop off and pick up children on the Alamance Burlington School System’s website.
The commencement ceremonies will begin at 8:45am on Friday, May 24 on E Haggard Avenue. Diploma ceremonies will take place at Schar Center located on N Williamson Ave starting at 11:30am.
