The Town of Elon has contracted with Turner Asphalt for a road resurfacing project. Weather permitting the project will begin on Monday, July 8th. The roads being resurfaced are a portion of Forestview Drive off of Westbrook Avenue and Orange Drive from Brighton Drive to Georgetowne Drive. This project may take several weeks to complete.
Notices will be distributed through the affected area. Signs and flagmen will be in place where necessary to direct traffic. Road closures may be necessary as well. In the case of a road closure, signage will be in place to alert drivers of the closure and marked detour routes to direct traffic.
