The Town of Elon Public Works Department will be conducting non-toxic smoke testing of the sanitary sewer system during the hours of 7:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday from June 1st through June 28th. The focus of this study will be the sanitary sewer systems north of Lebanon Avenue, see attachments. Smoke may be seen from holes in the ground, clean out stacks in yards, or vent stacks on the roof of buldings and homes. The smoke should not enter your home unless the plumbling is defective.
