The Town offers a comprehensive benefit package, which includes 11 paid holidays; paid vacation and sick leave; longevity pay; medical and dental insurance; and offered as an option, vision and short-term disability insurance. Full-time town employees are enrolled in the NC Local Governmental Employees’ Retirement System and a 401(k) plan with the option to enroll in a 457 deferred compensation plan. Credit union membership and tuition reimbursement programs are also available.
A Town of Elon employment application and supporting documents must be filled out completely and submitted to be considered for employment. Resumes alone will not be accepted. Applicants may enclose a resume with the completed employment application if desired. Applications may be downloaded directly from this site. For Elon Police Department positions, an F-3 form is required in addition to the standard application. All forms are in .pdf format.
