In order to comply with Executive Order 124, the Town of Elon will suspend the issuance of late fees and disconnect orders for non-payment of residential water and sewer bills for the next 60 days, or until the Executive Order is lifted. This order does not waive the amount owed If you are able to pay your bill, we encourage you to do so and if not, we urge you to create a payment plan. To create a payment plan contact Deborah Morrison at 336.584.0282 or by email at elonwater@elon.gov. If you are able to pay your bill, you can pay online, by mail, or by placing your payment in the drop box by the front doors of Town Hall.
If you have a water emergency, please dial 911 and they will alert the Elon Public Works department. If you see our Public Works team, for your protection, please avoid approaching them and their work site. If there is a need to speak with them, they are instructed to maintain at least 6 feet of separation for your safety and theirs.
