The Town’s administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. In case of an emergency, please call 911.
Mark your calendars for the upcoming festivities and make plans to join us. Kick off the holidays with the Festival of Lights, an annual Elon University event, on Tuesday, November 30th at 6pm. On Friday, December 3rd, head to Beth Schmidt Park for Christmas in the Park from 6pm -8pm with Santa arriving at 6pm, Storytime in the Playground at 6:30pm, and Christmas Karaoke at 7pm. Saturday, December 4th is the Santa Fun Fest in Downtown Elon from 5pm until 7pm. Join us for the annual Santa Fun Run starting at 5:15pm, Downtown tree lighting at 6pm, Victorian Carolers, the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, s’mores, and drones. Don’t miss any of the fun. Kick off your holiday season in the Town of Elon.
The Fill the Deere Food Drive continues through December 22nd. Please make a donation to help support those in need this holiday season. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off in the blue container located next to the John Deere excavator in the parking lot at Town Hall.
