Elon Connect

Just a reminder, we have switched to monthly billing for the water bills. Due to the new process and delayed delivery, we are extending the payment period to the end of the day on Sunday, October 31st. Any accounts that are not paid by Wednesday, November 3rd at 8am will be subject to disconnection. You can pay online at www.townofelon.com or by dropping off the payment in one of the drop boxes located at Town Hall.

Make plans to come out on Friday, October 29th for events happening in Elon. Halloween Happenings at Beth Schmidt Park is always a big hit with the kiddos. The event begins at 5pm with the Elon Police Department’s Trunk or Treat.  Then walk the Forbidden Trail to get your seat for the Movie on the Lawn feature Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The movie starts at 6:15pm. Bring your chair or blanket for a seat and enjoy the show. This event is free and open to all ages. Join us for a frightfully fun night of costumes and candy at Halloween Happenings at Beth Schmidt Park. If you would like to have a trunk at the event, please contact Sgt. Lovett at 336.584.1301 to register.

Also happening this Friday, October 29th in Downtown Elon is the final Music to Dine to featuring the bluesy sounds of Paloma Dettloff and her Jahm Band. Music starts at 6pm under the tent on W College Avenue. Bring your chair or blanket to spread out on the lawn or grab a front row seat at one of the picnic tables. We look forward to seeing you downtown. Music to Dine to will return in March of 2022.
