Councilman Allison was elected in 2019. As a life long resident of Alamance County, he has called Elon his home since 1985. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University earning a Bachelor degree in Textile Management in 1983. He works for Lincoln National Corporation, a Fortune 200 Company where he has worked for over 20 years. He earned his CLU & ChFC designations and holds the FINRA Series 6 & 63 registrations as well as Life, Health insurance licenses in 50 states. Prior to joining the Board, he served on the Town Planning Board for 15 years. He is married to Linda and they have two adult children and two amazing grandchildren.
