On Wednesday, January 27th, Governor Cooper issued three Executive Orders. Executive Order 189 extends the modified stay at home order through Sunday, February 28th. This means the curfew requiring people to be at home from 10PM to 5AM remains in place and masks are required to be worn when out in public. Within the Town of Elon, mass gathering limits remain at 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors. Executive Order 190 extends the 9PM cut off for onsite sales of alcoholic beverages and extended the ability to order take out or delivery of mixed beverages through 5PM on March 31st. Executive Order 191 extends the moratorium on evictions until March 31st.
