On Tuesday, December 28th, Elon Public Works Department will be replacing a fire hydrant and valve at the intersection of Woodale Drive and S Williamson Avenue. Water in the area will be turned off at 8am. The shut off should not be for more than eight (8) hours barring any challenges that might arise. The hydrant and valve replacement will improve fire protection, water quality, and cut down on future shut offs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
