On Tuesday, December 8th, Governor Cooper issued Executive Order 181 implementing a modified stay at home order beginning Friday, December 11th at 5pm and remaining in effect until Friday, January 8th at 5pm. Individuals should remain in their homes between the hours of 10pm until 5am. Businesses will be required to close by 10pm unless otherwise noted in the order. Alcohol sales and service for on-site consumption must end by 9pm. All other requirements including wearing a mask, capacity limitations, and the Town’s mass gathering limitation of 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors remain in effect and are unchanged.
