The Annual Budget is the financial embodiment of the Town’s plans for each year and is adopted each June in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes. The Finance Department overseas the preparation of the budget, beginning with the Town Manager’s recommended budget through adoption of the annual budget ordinance by the Town Council. The Town’s fiscal year runs from July 1st through June 30th.
